Edward Matthew O'Brien, AIA

Ed O’Brien is a full service Architect and Designer working in the areas of: Residential Design – including new homes, additions, renovations, and barns and barn conversions, and Commercial Design – including automotive facilities, office buildings, restaurants, factories, firehouses and schools.  Ed O’Brien is also experienced in Post and Beam construction, which is traditionally accomplished with hand tools and the absence of metal fasteners.

Ed O’Brien characterizes his work with a high level of personal involvement that includes meeting and working directly with clients, performing site and building analysis, theme development and project management in a reasonable, flexible, and practical manner.  Ed’s designs are understated and tasteful.  The essence of a successful project is attention to detail and Ed O’Brien firmly believes that details matter.

Ed O’Brien’s studio is located in Oldwick, Hunterdon County, New Jersey where much of his work can be seen in the towns of Tewksbury, Pottersville, Bedminster, Whitehouse, Clinton, Chester, and Long Valley.  Ed also works in Morris and Somerset Counties and has designed vacation home projects in Massachusetts, North Carolina and Wyoming.
